We're excited to share early design phase graphics of a new project for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Haverhill. On a 7 acre site, the program will include S.T.E.A.M. space, a child care, teen area, and a full gymnasium and swimming pool.

BLOOM proposes a two-story clubhouse with gym, pool, classrooms, maker spaces and offices; wrapped by a series of single story volumes with playful rooflines and pops of color. This series of lower rooflines on the approach to the building reduce the scale and identify different programmatic areas within the building

The attenuated front facade and winglike "butterfly roofs" serve to lighten the mass.

A side entrance leads to a dedicated entrance for the school aged childcare program.

Outdoor play space is tucked behind the building with a direct connection to the childrens' programs.

Stay tuned for more developments to come!
