This past year, BLOOM developed an overhaul to a Conceord estate property in conjunction with LeBlanc Jones Landscape Architects and Lagasse Group Custom Builders. The program was a major landscape renovation, clearing out invasives and openign views to the riverfront. The pool and spa are to be replaced, and a new multi-purpose structure will anchor the composition.
The building is arranged in two halves with a large void in the center, corresponding to teh pool's central axis. On the left is a modern kitchen and bar with monumental glass doors. The central void is outdoor covered dining with an adjacent bbq area. The right side contains a "day spa" with a blackened cedar sauna with oversized glazing facing the river, a bathroom, separatae steam shower room, a changing area and outdoor covered cold plunge. The building also houses laundry and pool equipment.
