Swampscott Pool House

The summer months in Swampscott are precious, when outdoor living thrives in this New England town. BLOOM was brought in at first to create a second floor addition for a primary suite. Once that phase was complete, we were engaged to create an outdoor living space adjacent to the existing swimming pool.

The structure would have a social function for hosting parties and meals, and a day-to-day function for the family to enjoy the natural landscape, rocky beaches and distant Boston skyline.

The program includes a bar, dining area, seating area by a wood-burning fireplace and a changing room / bathroom / steam shower.
