This residence hall design is one in a series of residence halls BLOOM is currently transforming and modernizing on the Northeastern Campus. The traditional entry sequence of circulation and unstructured lobby seating is transformed into a social center for study, socializing, community events and special campus programs. Our design of the lounge sequence, adds small forgotten pockets of space to the main entry space, creating a sense of expansive and interconnected social areas. The design emphasizes the flow of space through the building from a campus street to the courtyard on the opposite side.
