We have begun design work on a modern house perched on a stunning site on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. The secluded feel of the wooded site, and sweeping scale of the adjacent lake are inspiring in a simple way, causing us to focus on the elemental- land, water, horizon, sun path, and topography. In the city, we are influenced by other forces, vehicles, privacy, sound, light, zoning, land value. Here we return to the natural forces. Looking forward to sharing updates as the home develops....
